Our mission is to assist UC Riverside students in securing full and timely educational benefits to which they are entitled as a result of their own military service or the service-connected death or disability of a parent or spouse. We:
- provide counseling and program information, and certify eligible students to receive VA Education Benefits.
- administer programs and monitor student enrollment in compliance with applicable Federal and State regulations.
- work in cooperation with other University departments to ensure that students are not disadvantaged by their receipt of benefits, and advocate for their special needs, where appropriate.
- maintain productive relationships with the US Department of Veterans Affairs and other agencies serving veterans and servicepersons.
